| The San Jose State University Museum of Art and Design is conceived as an essentialy freestanding structure within the existing courtyard. The museum and surrounding spaces will be experienced sequentially from limited viewpoints due to the nature of the site. Hence, the design focuses on creating a series of continuously linked indoor and outdoor spaces that enable the visitor to comprehend the museum as a place. |
