| The Hayward Civic Center, a joint project of the Hayward Redevelopment Agency, BART, and a private developer, incorporates a new City Hall and Civic Plaza, retail and transit adjacent housing. A landscaped promenade links the downtown Hayward retail district to a new intermodal transit stop as well as the downtown Hayward BART station. The building masses develop a block structure consistent with the Hayward Downtown Master Plan. |
